Cessna 172I–172M engines

Cessna

The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is the most-produced aircraft in history. It first flew in 1955 and entered production in 1956 as a tricycle-gear development of the Cessna 170, which made it the world's standard trainer. A modified 172 also set a 64-day endurance record in 1958–59. From 1968 the 172I through 172M switched to the 150 hp Lycoming O-320-E2D, beginning the Lycoming era of the Skyhawk (TCDS 3A12). Our overhaul team works on this engine.
