Cessna

The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is the most-produced aircraft in history. It first flew in 1955 and entered production in 1956 as a tricycle-gear development of the Cessna 170, which made it the world's standard trainer. A modified 172 also set a 64-day endurance record in 1958–59. Cessna restarted 172 production in 1996 with the fuel-injected 172R, powered by a 160 hp-rated Lycoming IO-360-L2A. A Continental CD-155 Jet-A diesel conversion is also available by STC (TCDS 3A12). Our overhaul team works on this engine.
