Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee engines

Piper

The Piper PA-28 Cherokee family was designed by Fred Weick, John Thorp and Karl Bergey as a simple, robust low-wing four-seater. The prototype flew in January 1960 and first deliveries came in the 1961 model year. More than 32,000 have been built, and the family is still in production. The PA-28-140 was the two-to-four-seat trainer version, powered by the Lycoming O-320-E2A. Our overhaul team works on this engine.
