Piper PA-28-180 Cherokee/Archer engines

Piper

The Piper PA-28 Cherokee family was designed by Fred Weick, John Thorp and Karl Bergey as a simple, robust low-wing four-seater. The prototype flew in January 1960 and first deliveries came in the 1961 model year. More than 32,000 have been built, and the family is still in production. The 180 hp PA-28-180 used the Lycoming O-360-A3A/A4A and led to the Archer. Our overhaul team works on this engine.
