Piper PA-28-181 Archer II/III engines

Piper

The Piper PA-28 Cherokee family was designed by Fred Weick, John Thorp and Karl Bergey as a simple, robust low-wing four-seater. The prototype flew in January 1960 and first deliveries came in the 1961 model year. More than 32,000 have been built, and the family is still in production. The Archer II and III combine the tapered wing with the 180 hp Lycoming O-360-A4M. The type is still in production. Our overhaul team works on this engine.
